Meet EHS Scientist John Kelleher

Environmental, Health and Safety Scientist III

Bachelor of Science – Occupational Health and Applied Sciences, Keene State College – Keene, NH

John’s story:

I started working at Capaccio shortly after graduating starting as an intern and have been an integral part of the health and safety team since 2015. I have been assisting our clients with EHS program implementation, on site services, training, and industrial hygiene monitoring.

What do you like best about working in the Health and Safety field?

After spending my first two years at CAPACCIO working under the wing of a certified industrial hygienist, I developed a passion for industrial hygiene. I enjoy working with clients to help ensure the health and safety of their most important assets, their employees, through air sampling, noise monitoring and indoor air quality evaluations.

Fun fact:

Spartan race enthusiast.

When I can travel again, I’d like to:

Hike and explore a national park.

How I’m entertaining myself during COVID:

Reading books and binge-watching “Suits” on Amazon Prime.

We’re celebrating Safe+Sound week by profiling five of our EHS Scientists.
