Air Quality Engineer

Come join our talented team for an exciting and challenging career opportunity!

CAPACCIO is seeking a talented environmental engineer with 3 to 6 years relevant experience in the implementation and management of air quality permitting, reporting, and compliance projects. We are seeking candidates who are highly motivated, detail-oriented, critical thinkers, who are committed to providing high quality services and motivated to grow our services in this area!

JOB DUTIES (INCLUDE BUT NOT LIMITED TO):

  • Prepare and file air permit applications and annual air emission reports

  • Conduct Best Available Control Technology (BACT) Analyses

  • Conduct greenhouse gas emissions inventories and reporting

REQUIREMENTS:

  • B.S. in Engineering with Environmental, Chemical, Mechanical or related discipline

  • Minimum of three years of air compliance experience

  • Knowledge of local, state and federal laws and regulations governing air pollution and control, with ability to explain to public or private entities or individuals

  • Ability to make technical computations and calculations involving the application of engineering principles

  • Ability to collect and organize engineering and technical facts and data and be able to present clearly and concisely, both orally and in written reports and applications

  • Expertise with MS Excel calculations to perform monthly and 12-month rolling emission calculations

DESIRED EXPERIENCE:

  • Consulting experience

  • Experience working in manufacturing environment

  • Experience working with state and federal agency representatives (i.e. Massachusetts Department of Environmental Protection, Environmental Protection Agency) a strong plus

  • Engineering-in-Training Certification​

EHS Scientist

Seeking a highly-motivated junior to mid-level environmental, health, and safety scientist for a strong career growth-oriented position assisting clients and staff with a variety of environmental, health, and safety compliance and management services such as to:

  • Provide on-site environmental, health, and safety services at client’s facilities

  • Develop written environmental, health and safety programs

  • Develop and conduct environmental, health and safety training programs

  • Conduct multi-media environmental, health and safety compliance audits of industrial manufacturing and Biopharma operations including pre-audit preparation, facility auditing, and the preparation of clear and concise audit finding reports.

  • Conducting environmental, health and safety management system conformance audits

  • Preparation of environmental permits and reports such as TIER II, Form R/S, air source registrations, industrial wastewater discharge, storm water, and more.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Hold a Bachelor of Science Degree from an accredited institution in engineering, environmental science, occupational health and safety, or business management

  • Have a minimum of 2-3 years of environmental, health and safety experience in a manufacturing setting

  • Possess strong written and oral communication skills

  • Be self-driven, motivated and able to multi-task

  • Demonstrate strong management skills in the areas of project budgeting, scheduling, scope management, and resource management

  • Be proficient in Microsoft Office software products including Excel, Word, Outlook, and Power Point

  • ISO 14001 and 45001 Management System

  • OSHA and State Compliance

  • Laboratory Safety

  • Industrial Hygiene
