An Introduction to ISO 14000
Module #1 of an 8 Module Set

This module introduces the user to ISO, ISO 14000, and ISO 14001.  In addition to providing background on the development of ISO standards and the history of ISO 14000 standards, the course clarifies some of the terms pertaining to registration.  This module also provides a broad overview of the components of ISO 14001, the registration process, and approaches to implementation.

This is also a useful module for managers deciding whether or not to pursue the standard, as well as for training organizational personnel who need an introduction to what ISO 14000/14001 is about and an understanding what the process steps are towards achieving the registration.
