This course is designed to train all employees of
an organization undergoing ISO 14001 registration
and/or surveillance audit. In addition, this
training can be used to train suppliers,
contractors, and others about the company ISO
14001 Environmental Management System (EMS).
Implementation of this course will
cost-effectively help organizations to address the
training and awareness requirements of Section
4.4.2 of the Standard (Section 4.4.2 of the ISO
14001 standard requires that personnel receive
training on environmental policy & procedures,
environmental impacts, and roles &
responsibilities).
What is Included:
The course contents are customized to include
company-specific information on environmental
policy, objectives & targets, programs, EMS, etc.
The course is geared towards those persons who may
have a less active role in ISO 14001
implementation at the company, but who still need
to have a general understanding of what it means
and
what the company is doing in order to
meet the training & communication requirements of
the ISO 14001 Standard. As part of
registration/certification audit and subsequent
surveillance audits, the registrar may ask any
employee in the facility about ISO 14000 and the
company environmental management system policy,
objectives and programs. This training will also
help prepare company personnel for registration
and surveillance audits. In addition, this
training can be used to train suppliers,
contractors, and others about the company EMS.
Instructional
graphics, animations, and interactive exercises,
questions, & games are incorporated into the
course to help engage the user. For those with
sound cards, narration, music and other sound
options are available. The course also includes a
review section that can later be used for
reference purposes after the initial training is
