Environmental/Chemical Engineer

Seeking talented Mid-Level Engineer with 3-5+ years relevant experience in industrial wastewater treatment system design, operational troubleshooting, compliance assurance, and facility permitting. In this role, the successful candidate will provide technical direction to staff and clients with regard to technical know-how on all project aspects including: planning and design activities for new/updated treatment facilities, system troubleshooting/optimization, operational safety, permitting, regulatory compliance, and hazardous waste management. Manage projects and/or support the assigned project manager in executing technical assignments, developing or reviewing project deliverables, mentoring engineering staff, and client management.

Candidates should possess excellent oral and written communication skills, be capable of handling multiple priorities, and be able to work well both independently and in a team environment. Experience with AutoCAD, proficiency with Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Project), familiarity with internet searching techniques, and experience with consulting and/or working in industry/manufacturing environments is preferred. Familiarity with process operations of electronics, semiconductor, metal finishing, biotechnology/biosciences, hospitals, and/or other industries is a strong plus. Air treatment/compliance background also a strong plus.

Position requires EIT  Registration (P.E Registration a plus) with minimum B.S. in Chemical Engineering or Environmental/Civil Engineering with strong chemistry background. Level II or greater Licensed WWTP Operator (MA) licensure is highly desirable.

Air Quality Engineer

CAPACCIO is seeking a talented senior environmental engineer/project manager with 5 to 10 years relevant experience in the implementation and management of air quality permitting, reporting, and compliance projects. We are seeking candidates that are interested in providing high quality services while helping to grow our services in this area! This position requires a B.S. in Engineering with Environmental, Chemical, Mechanical or related discipline, at least five years of experience managing air compliance projects, and a professional engineering registration, or ability to obtain one within one year of hire.

Seeking talented Environmental Engineer with 2 to 5 years relevant experience to assist clients and technical staff with consulting & engineering relative to industrial process water & wastewater treatment system design, air pollution control systems design, site remediation, training and technical presentations, design drawings & specifications, technical report preparation, and project coordination.

Seeking a highly-motivated mid -level environmental, health and safety scientist and Project Manager for a strong career growth-oriented position assisting clients and staff with a variety of environmental, health and safety compliance and management services, including:

  • Providing on-site environmental, health and safety services at client sites

  • Developing written environmental, health and safety programs

  • Developing and delivering environmental, health and safety training programs

  • Conducting multi-media environmental, health and safety compliance audits of industrial manufacturing operations including pre-audit preparation, facility auditing, and the preparation of clear and concise audit finding reports.

  • Conducting environmental, health and safety management system conformance audits

  • Preparation of environmental permits and reports such as TIER II, Form R/S, air source registrations, industrial wastewater discharge, storm water, and more.

  • Successful candidates for this position must:

  • Hold a Bachelor of Science Degree from an accredited institution in engineering, environmental science or business management

  • Have a minimum of 5 years of environmental, health and safety experience in a manufacturing setting

  • Have a minimum of five years of experience in consulting

  • Have a minimum of five years of project management experience

  • Possess strong written and oral communication skills

  • Be independently driven and able to multi-task

  • Demonstrate strong management skills in the areas of project budgeting, scheduling, scope management, and resource management

Sustainability Specialist

CAPACCIO is seeking an Corporate Social Responsibility and Sustainability Specialist with 3 to 5 years relevant experience to assist staff and clients with a variety of tasks including: CSR reporting, sustainability program development; assisting with the collection, compilation, and analysis of operating data for use in corporate reporting; conducting gap analyses of existing operations; conducting benchmark analyses; conducting systems audits; preparing reports; conducting internet research activities; maintaining technical databases; and other miscellaneous responsibilities. This position requires a bachelors degree in environmental sciences, environmental management, sustainability or a related field from a leading academic institution (master's degree preferred). Candidates from other fields with significant related academic and/or work experience will be considered. Relevant certifications are a plus.
