CBET - ISO 14000 General Awareness Training

This course is designed to train all employees of an organization undergoing ISO 14001 registration and/or surveillance audit. In addition, this training can be used to train suppliers, contractors, and others about the company ISO 14001 Environmental Management System (EMS). Implementation of this course will cost-effectively help organizations to address the training and awareness requirements of Section 4.4.2 of the Standard (Section 4.4.2 of the ISO 14001 standard requires that personnel receive training on environmental policy & procedures, environmental impacts, and roles & responsibilities).

What is Included:
The course contents are customized to include company-specific information on environmental policy, objectives & targets, programs, EMS, etc. The course is geared towards those persons who may have a less active role in ISO 14001 implementation at the company, but who still need to have a general understanding of what it means and what the company is doing in order to meet the training & communication requirements of the ISO 14001 Standard. As part of registration/certification audit and subsequent surveillance audits, the registrar may ask any employee in the facility about ISO 14000 and the company environmental management system policy, objectives and programs. This training will also help prepare company personnel for registration and surveillance audits. In addition, this training can be used to train suppliers, contractors, and others about the company EMS.

Instructional graphics, animations, and interactive exercises, questions, & games are incorporated into the course to help engage the user. For those with sound cards, narration, music and other sound options are available. The course also includes a review section that can later be used for reference purposes after the initial training is completed.
