MassDEP Extends Air Source
Registration Filing Deadlines!

Due to
significant problems with the eDEP online filing system,
the Massachusetts Department of Environmental Protection
(MassDEP) has extended the air source registration-filing
deadline for all sources. Major facilities (annual
filers) have until October 31, 2006 to file. Minor
facilities (tri-annual filers) have the option of not
filing this year but instead filing next year by April 15,
2007 (for calendar year 2006 emissions).
The MassDEP has
advised all major sources, and those minor sources wishing
to file this year, to not access the system until after
August 1, 2006 at which time the eDEP system should be
upgraded. If you have already entered data into the
eDEP system, the data will not be lost as the system is
being upgraded.
