Wastewater Treatment (WWT)
System Operators in Massachusetts are required to obtain
twenty (20) hours of MADEP approved continuing education, or
training contact hours (TCH), every two years.
Capaccio offers a variety of interactive seminars for
WWT system operators throughout the year that are MADEP approved
for TCH. In addition, these training seminars
provide WWT system operators with valuable information
that helps keep them at the leading edge of their
profession.

Training Experiments

This course will
provide a hands-on experience where experiments
will be performed using common household
ingredients to demonstrate basic physical and
chemical reactions related to coagulation,
flocculation and sedimentation.

Health & Safety Hazard Assessments
- 2.5 TCH Credits
This course will review the process of conducting
hazard assessments for equipment and operations in
order to identify the necessary personal equipment
(PPE). Operators will review DVD recordings
of production operations and conduct hazard
assessments of these operations.
