In practical terms, “Sustainability is how an
organization manages its responsibilities for environmental
stewardship, stakeholder engagement, and community-based
economic prosperity over the long term.” It is
all about acting responsibly and letting others know how you
are managing your sustainability efforts.
CAPACCIO helps facilitate the transition from
an organization’s current state to a benchmarked future state.

CAPACCIO does this by helping organizations to
create and then implement their own unique sustainability
strategy. CAPACCIO has developed a five-step process that
leads to this strategy:

The Sustainability Practice at CAPACCIO is led
by Robert (Bob) Pojasek, PhD. Our full range of
sustainability services includes assessments, management
systems, stakeholder engagement programs, program development,
training, benchmarking and reporting.
Dr. Pojasek has also conducted
webinars which are recorded and available for download,
and can help explain CAPACCIO’s unique approach to
sustainability. Bob has also written several
papers
on the subject that address some of the specific issues you
may face as you develop your sustainability/corporate
responsibility program. Please follow Bob’s blogs on
our EHS&S Management Systems Center website
http://www.ems-hsms.com for up-to-date information on the
subject or sustainability.
