 Experience
CAPACCIO has assisted in developing and has certified more than 25 Toxics Use Reduction (TUR) Plans for clients in industry sectors such as semiconductor manufacturing, textile manufacturing, biotech and pharmaceutical manufacturing, metal finishing, heat treating and power generation facilities.  We have developed thorough TUR reporting and planning methodologies to help the client through the reporting and planning process. By implementing effective pollution prevention techniques and facilitating the planning process, we have helped our clients save thousands of dollars, improve product quality, reduce the amount of waste to manage and even drop below planning thresholds.

Where there’s planning, there’s reporting and CAPACCIO has assisted clients with data collection, threshold determinations, emissions calculations, and report completion and submittals for hundreds of Section 311, 312 (Tier 2), 313 (Form R) and TUR Form S reports.  We had created chemical use data bases to track chemical use and facilitate the reporting process. We pride ourselves in the documentation we provide to our clients that serves as back up to reporting or supports the fact that reporting is not required.    CAPACCIO has four certified TUR Planners on staff. CAPACCIO is on the Toxics Use Reduction Planners Association Board of Directors and provides input to Massachusetts Department of Environmental Protection on suggested program improvements.
