CAPACCIO was retained by a developer of products used in research and quality assurance and other laboratory applications to supplement their Environmental Management System (EMS) internal audit program.

Since 2007, CAPACCIO has routinely performed internal audits of the client’s environmental management system. Audits are conducted for all EMS elements and at the frequency specified in the client’s audit schedule. The audits have included processes such as internal audit program, management of change; objectives, targets and programs; environmental policy; management review; monitoring and measurement; operational controls; evaluation of compliance; documentation; document control; documentation linkage; resources, roles, responsibility and authority; training competency and awareness; record retention; environmental aspects; and communication. The internal audit program ensures that the EMS is implemented, documented, continually improved and sustained by the organization.
