Health & Safety Scientist – Junior Level  [HSES1]
Full Time

CAPACCIO is seeking a Health & Safety professional with 1-3 years of experience to assist staff and clients with a variety of tasks including regulatory review and compliance, preparing regulatory submittals, safety program development, assisting with compliance and systems audits; preparing reports; conducting internet research activities; assisting with calculations; maintaining technical databases; and other miscellaneous responsibilities.

  • Previous experience with consulting and/or working in industry/manufacturing environments

  • Ability to collect and organize technical facts and data and to present them clearly and concisely, both orally and in written reports and applications
  • Experience with process safety management a strong plus

Environmental Engineer – Junior Level [EES1]
Full Time

Seeking talented Environmental Engineer with 1 to 3 years relevant experience to assist clients and technical staff with consulting & engineering relative to industrial process water & wastewater treatment system design, air pollution control systems design, site remediation, training and technical presentations, design drawings & specifications, technical report preparation, and project coordination.
Desired Qualifications Include:

  • BS in chemical engineering or environmental engineering with strong chemistry background
  • Experience with consulting and/or working in industry/manufacturing environments
  • Ability to make technical computations and calculations involving the application of engineering principles
  • Ability to collect and organize engineering and technical facts and data and to present them clearly and concisely, both orally and in written reports and applications
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint)
  • AutoCAD
  • EIT registration a strong plus

Accounting/Administrative Clerk 1 [ADMIN1]
Part Time

We are seeking a part-time accounting/administrative clerk to assist with various accounting and general administrative related tasks for ten hours per week to start with potential to increase if/when mutually beneficial.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to assisting with:

  • Accounts receivables including review, obtaining signature approvals if required, and entry into financial systems.  Help with collections, maintain collections period as compared to top firms via reporting, monitoring aging, and logging actions with follow up activities.
  • Review/maintain vendor account statement against systems data
  • Expenses entry including allocations to proper departments, expense accounts and general ledger
  • Document management - preparing, scanning and filing with accordance to document retention policies
  • Generation of various reporting including billing, aged receivables, and project related as requested by staff
  • Processing purchase order requests with proper approvals and document management
  • New project administration – generating new project numbers and client records data entry

Requirements include:

  • Knowledge of basic accounting principles and procedure
  • Excellent problem-solving and research skills (i.e. ability to methodically review various discrepancies, exceptions, and present findings with recommended action steps)
  • Excellent organizational and follow through skills (i.e. ability to effectively handle tasks of varying priority and due dates)
  • Strong communication skills with ability to interact with various levels of staff as well as external contacts; and to maintain confidentiality
